Fill The Hopper
Load the large capacity hopper with up to 10 days worth of feed. The secure lid keeps it completely dry and protected from the elements.

Chickens Step On
When a chicken steps onto the treadle platform, their weight activates the mechanism, smoothly opening the feed cover.

Pests Locked Out
When the chicken steps off, the cover closes automatically. Rats, mice, and wild birds are too light to open it, keeping them completely locked out.
Training Your Flock
Training your chickens to use the feeder is easy. We provide a simple two-step training process that works for almost every flock.
- Week 1: Leave the feeder fully open so they get used to eating from it.
- Week 2: Leave it partially open so they learn the movement of the treadle.
- Week 3: Close it completely. They will now confidently step on the treadle to eat!
